Gleason hosts Summer Celebration
GLEASON, Tenn. — A local city is celebrating all things Summer!
The City of Gleason hosted its Summer Celebration Saturday beginning at 6. It kicked off with a parade, followed by live music from the band, “MidLife Crisis.” The entertainment also featured some talented local artists.
Food trucks were on site selling BBQ along with other delicious items. They also welcomed various vendors who set up shop offering all kinds of merchandise.
“This is Gleason’s fourth of July downtown summer celebration. We always have it the Saturday night before the fourth. It gives people a chance to go other places that vacation on the week of the 4th,” Charles Anderson, Mayor of Gleason.
The festivities continued into the night with a huge fireworks display after dark.
