Salvation Army of Jackson brings in new leadership
JACKSON Tenn. — The Salvation Army of Jackson announces an upcoming leadership transition.
Whenever a new officer arrives in an appointment there is a welcome service in which they are installed as the pastors of the community that happened Saturday at the
leaders for the divisional headquarters. Majors Brooks and Lori Gilliam are the new divisional secretaries that are installing the new pastors.
Guest enjoy friends family, and fellowship.
“We’ve got a chance to drive around the community as our own and meet some of the people there. We’ve also met some of the people here at the Corp, those coming in for the food pantry, those in day camp and it’s been a great opportunity to kind of meet everyone to get on base with everyone and figure out a way we can serve best,” said William Richardson, a Captain for Salvation Army.
Summer day camp is currently in session for ages 6 to 12.
