St. Mary’s bids farewell to Father Graham and Father Perez

JACKSON, Tenn. — A special ceremony is held, bidding farewell to two leadership members at a local church.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Jackson hosted a service to say “goodbye and good luck.”

Several church goers were present following Saturday’s mass to deliver a gracious send off to both Father David Graham and Father Johnathan Perez.

Both fathers will be making their way to new parishes.

Father Graham was assigned to St. Louis Catholic Church and Father Perez will be moving to St. Michael Catholic Church.

“For me to be here for the last 10 years as pastor has been a wonderful blessing. So it’s been great. So many people have come out and we had a nice little reception tonight. We’re going to do it after each of the masses this weekend,” Father David Graham, St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

New leadership for St. Mary’s will be Father Dennis Schenkel and the new Associate Pastors assigned are Father Gabe Bouck and Father Rolando Perez.
