McNairy County Chamber of Commerce celebrates 61 years
MCNAIRY, Tenn. — One local chamber celebrates a huge milestone with a special open house.
The McNairy County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism is turning 61.
Residents were encouraged to stop by for light refreshments, a chance to connect with community members, and a look back at highlights from the chamber’s history.
“With us rural chamber offices, normally–one or two employees–we wear many hats. It goes from community development to tourism development, economic development, community events and just general support whatever we can do,” said Jessica Huff, executive director for the McNairy County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism.
The chamber was originally established in 1964.
