Residents get ready for ‘Red, White, & Bolivar’ event
BOLIVAR, Tenn. — It’s time to dress your best for an event that’s fun for the whole family.
The “Red, White & Bolivar” celebration is taking place Thursday evening. It starts at 7:30 p.m. at Sand Beach Lake. That’s located at 14495 Highway 64 in Bolivar.
You can expect fireworks, of course, along with various food vendors, live music and more.
“We’re excited to open the newly remodeled and renovated Sand Beach Lake for our ‘Red, White, & Bolivar’ Independence Day celebration. We’re going to start tonight around 7:30, the gates will open at 5:30, and we will be having food trucks, and live music, and lots and lots of fireworks,” said,” said Julian McTizic, Bolivar mayor.
