Residents join in on festivities for Dyer Station parade

DYER, Tenn. — One local town joins in the festive fun with a special parade.

Earlier Friday, local communities gathered to watch the annual Dyer Station Celebration Parade.

The parade included local first responders and farmers with families and friends joining in the fun.

With the parade, they also had fun events including a Bible reading, youth rally and bingo.

“We’ve been riding in the parade for several years now and Fourth of July is my favorite holiday, so just getting to ride in it and getting to share agriculture with the community and it’s just a good time you know we all look forward to it every year,” said Robert Joyce, farmer.

The will also hosts a firework show that will start tonight at 9 p.m. at Dyer Park.
