“My step dad owns two classic cars and he decided for the big town of McLemoresville that he was going to start a car show in honor of Dixie Carter. It’s usually the Saturday after the 4th of July so this is our 3rd annual one, today I think we’ve had 77 cars and three motorcycles registered today,” said Jennifer Crawford, Co-host of the Dixie Car Show.
The Dixie Car Show happens annually and this year’s event was made possible by Carroll Bank & Trust, Peppers Ford, VP Racing, Hillard’s Auto Repair, Hometown Grocery and Deli, Bobby Gee’s Diner, Four Winds Window Cleaners and Espey Gin Company.
