Rev. Joe A. Scott age 84 of Dyersburg, TN. died Thursday, June 26. 2025, at his residence. Arrangements are entrusted to McCreight Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church 11:00a.m.-11:55a.m. Funeral services will follow at 12 Noon. Rev. Herman Milton officiating.  Rev. Scott had Pastored St. John# 2 M. B. Church in Tiptonville, TN. and New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Middle City Community in Dyersburg, TN. the Burial will be held in the Whiteside Cemetery in Oceola; Ark. Pallbearers will be Bro. Henry Keith, Bro. Nathan Welch, Rev. James Baltimore, Bro. Wayne Taylor, Bro. Thomas Fry. Survivors include his wife Leola Armstrong Scott, Dyersburg, TN. Daughters; Connie Scott Haymon (Nathan) Dyersburg. Alyah Scott, Jovita Scott, Dyersburg, TN. Sons, Ronnie Scott, Dyersburg, TN. Joe (Debrah) Scott, Larry Scott, Arkansas, Alvin (Vicky) Scott, Rockford, IL., Benard Scott, Florida, Tommy (Casandra) Scott, Clarksville, TN. Sisters; Shirley Thompson, Bessie Thompson, Atlanta, Ga. Brothers, Judge Thompson, Oceola, Ark., Robert Flemming, California. Rev. Joe A.
