Showers And Storms Moving In
WBBJ 7 Forecast Update
Storms are moving back into the forecast for the entire week. Will it storm all day, every day? Not likely. You will want to keep the umbrella within arms reach at all times throughout the week. We’ll break it down day by day right here.
Tonight:
Tonight, expect showers and storms to dwindle. Things should be clearing up by about 8:00 P.M.. Temperatures will fall to the mid-70s, and cloud cover will stick around in the area, but we should stay dry overnight.
Monday:
Showers will be scattered throughout Monday, also likely not very intense. Unfortunately, it appears like all of West Tennessee will be picking up some measurable rainfall tomorrow. It will not be all at once, however. Before Noon, showers will remain north of I-40, moving south of the interstate and through Savannah by 6:00 P.M., also Futurecast shows there will be a second round of showers tracking through Dyer, Gibson and Weakley Counties in the evening.
Tuesday:
Portions of West Tennessee have been placed under a Marginal (Level 1/5) Risk for severe weather for Tuesday. Primary threats, like with most Summer storm systems, will be high winds and torrential rainfall. As of now, only portions of Lake and Obion Counties are included, but it’s completely possible for it to be expanded across more of Northwest Tennessee.
Wednesday Onward:
Showers and storms will be persistent all week long here in West Tennessee. We aren’t expecting severe conditions, on any day other than the chance on Tuesday. Total rainfall estimates should be less than an inch of rain per day.
