Back-to-School Boost Week underway at Jackson-Madison Co. Health Dept.

JACKSON, Tenn. — Getting your child ready for school? A local health department has you covered!

July 7-11 is Back-To-School Boost Week at the Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department.

Vaccines protect your child’s health and supplies help them start school strong.

So, the health department wants to get them protected and prepared in one visit!

“You do need to call ahead and schedule an appointment, and we have spots open throughout the week,” said Ginger Rowsey, public information officer for the Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department. “So by pairing these essential immunizations, with needed school supplies, we really think we can: serve the community, remove barriers, and just help parents in a meaningful way.”

For this week only, schedule an appointment for your child’s required school immunizations, and they’ll receive a free starter pack of school supplies. Call (731) 423-3020 to schedule.
