Martha Marie Norris
Martha Marie Norris, 87, of the Clayton community passed away 4:45 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Obion County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Friday at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak with Brother Tom Elam officiating.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services Friday.
Pallbearers will be Louie Hulet, Wayne Wynn, Lucas Reed, John Wesley McBride, Chris Shelton and Johnny McBride.
Marie was born May 7, 1938, in Somerville, daughter of the late Richard Earlee Lancaster and Martha Pearl (Jones) Dickey. She married Roger Joseph Norris, Sr. March 27, 1978. He passed away June 4, 2020. She worked with special needs children and elderly adults as a caretaker and was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She is survived by one son, Johnny Waddell McBride of Troy; one daughter, Regenia Ann Martin of Wingo, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Tammy Winn of Union City, Jason Norfleet (Nom) of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Tiffany Geiser (Paul) of Monroe, Michigan, Anna McBride of Union City, John Wesley McBride of Union City and April Wheeler of Hickman, Kentucky; six great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by one great grandson, Sky Hulet; and four brothers, Earl Lancaster, William Edward Lancaster, Wilford Lancaster and Donald Lancaster.
