Helping Hand of Humboldt hosts ‘Christmas in July’
HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — A local nonprofit received christmas donations, and decided it’s the perfect time to jingle into the holidays with ‘Christmas in July.’
This festive mid-year moment is a golden opportunity to engage customers, clear inventory and create a buzz without the stress of December chaos.
Friday’s event was presented by ‘Helping Hand of Humboldt,’ raising funds to feed the homeless community. The event included a christmas lunch, presents, games and lots of fun.
“We have a food pantry where you can come and get food for free, groceries for free–for your home. You can receive clothes from our resale shop for free, if you’re in need, and then we also serve a hot breakfast and hot lunch every day,” said Jocelyn Bundy, executive director for Helping Hand of Humboldt.
With Amazon Prime Days in July, the summer is quickly becoming a time when buyers are conditioned to expect deals and encouraged to start thinking ahead to the holidays.
