Milan welcomes ‘Blooming Buds Florist’

MILAN, Tenn. — One new business hopes it will be ‘coming up roses’ as it opens its doors.

Blooming Buds Florist held a special dedication ceremony earlier Friday in Milan.

Laura Cole and Ashlee Hampton are the co-owners of “Blooming Buds.” They said they plan to bring a “cottage-core-elegance feel” to the community.

Blooming Buds will as be hosting a workshop called ‘Mommy and Me: Build Your Own Bouquet’ on July 20.

“She’s been in the florist business longer and we are best friends. We’ve been best friends for 15 years, hence the name ‘Blooming Buds,’ so we’ve finally got an opportunity to actually start a business together and just try it and go for broke,” said Cole.

Blooming Buds Florist is located on 4005 North Main Street in Milan.
