First Summer Break Film Camp begins at The Ned

JACKSON, Tenn. — It’s time for lights, cameras and action!

The Summer Break Film, Acting and Production Camp is taking place at The Ned today.

This camp is for ages 13 through 18. Campers will spend the week learning about film acting and production with The Ned staff and members of the Reel Collective and Hub City Film Festival.

“I hope we can do it again next year and that people would love to be a part of it. This is our first time, so we’re kind of figuring it out with them and the kids as we go. So yeah, I really hope that it goes well and I hope that they enjoy it, and that’s probably the biggest thing to me. I hope that they get something out of it, and that they fall in love with filmmaking like we do,” said .

Camp times are from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
