‘Guide to birding in Tennessee’ event invites wildlife enthusiasts on new adventure

BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. — If you’re looking for a new hobby or are a seasoned bird enthusiast, one special event is returning to West Tennessee this weekend.

The new Guide to birding in Tennessee kicks off July 19 at the West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center.

At 7:30 a.m., participants will embark on an exclusive birding excursion led by Wildlife Biologist Bob Ford. This will take place at the Hatchie National Wildlife Refuge.

“It’s an opportunity for birding enthusiasts and wildlife enthusiasts to go and explore the Hatchie National Wildlife Refuge, and it also gives them the opportunity to see the unveiling of the Guide to Birding in Tennessee presented by Tennessee Tourism,” said Marco Leon, curator for the West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center.

Event organizers encourage West Tennesseans to get out this Saturday and enjoy the free festivities. Click here for more details.
