Lexington Tigers Football Team Preview
We preview the Lexington Tigers football team. Last season they kicked off the year winning just one of their first five games.
But picked up steam winning their next two in a row with one of those games being an overtime win. However, in three of their final four
matchups they struggled defensively giving up a combined 94 points. While on offense in their last game against Marshall county they managed to score just five
points. This would put the Tigers record at 2-3 in district play and 4-7 overall. However a lot of their starters are returning on both sides of the ball.
So their is upside and reason to be excited about the potential of what this team can do now that their more familiar with one another being in coach
Carr system. Speaking of coach Carr we caught up with him today and he talked about the details and the
development of his players.

“You know but attack them with great detail you know we cant get again i say get bored but we cant get bored and attacking each and every day doing the same thing over and over again but finding a way to fine tune that craft and that detail weather it be tackling on defense you know strategy wise knowing and doing your assignment at a high high level and keeping it simple.
It’s been fun watching them develop and learn a little bit more football as we go just become a little more football savvy as far as the game and how to beat the game. The offseason been great they been working extremely hard. I’m extremely excited to see how it all translates to the season“.
