Wreck involving motorcycle halts traffic in Jackson
JACKSON, Tenn. — Traffic came to a halt Friday evening after an apparent crash involving a motorcycle and a car on a busy Hub City street.
Around 7:30 p.m., we received calls and emails about the crash from our WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News tipsters. When our crew arrived on the scene, they noticed traffic at North Highland Avenue and Campbell Street blocked, and a heavily damaged motorcycle and car in the middle of the street.
Police were also on the scene, and according to our tipsters, at least one person was transported from the scene by ambulance.
We’ve reached out to the Jackson Police Department and are awaiting more information as to what led to the crash, as well as if there were serious injuries.
