Both ladies expressed how excited they were to win and how they look forward to what is to come.

“Last night we competed in fitness. For me, I competed in talent with the other Teen Volunteer contestants and we also competed in evening gown. Once we narrowed it down to the top five, we answered an on stage question,” said Alexa Macarthur, 2026 Miss Tennessee Teen Volunteer.

“I had prayed before and after the interview. I was so at peace the whole week. Nerves were obviously up there, but being out there on that stage after the opening number and looking at the judges for the first time; I honestly felt so calm and I was just ready. I felt good,” said Lucy Cowart, 2026 Miss Iris Tennessee Teen Volunteer.

Both ladies’ hard work and dedication definitely paid off in Saturday night’s competition. Congrats to both winners!
