Meet and greet held for upcoming Miss Tennessee Volunteer Pageant

JACKSON, Tenn.—It was an exciting Sunday afternoon at Carl Perkins Civic Center as the Miss Volunteer organization introduced its 36 contestants that will compete in the upcoming Miss Tennessee Volunteer Pageant.

Ladies from all across the state traveled to Jackson this week in preparation for the pageant. Contestants were accompanied by their princess during the meet and greet.

The preliminary competition will begin on Wednesday, July 23- Friday July 25 at the Civic Center.

From there contestants will be narrowed down to compete in the the final competition Saturday, July 26 here in the Hub City, where one lucky lady will be crowned as the new Miss Tennessee Volunteer.
