UNSOLVED: Justin Gibbs still on the run after escaping during a high-speed chase

JACKSON, Tenn. — 35-year-old Justin Blake Gibbs is still on the run seven months later following a dangerous high-speed chase with the law.

According to the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office, on December 23, 2024, Gibbs evaded arrest and led law enforcement on chase that caused two wrecks. The pursuit ended with Gibbs escaping on foot in Gibson County on Highway 104 near Halton Road.

Then, on July 15, 2025, a heavy police presence gathered to search for Gibbs in the 100 block of Bald Eagle Run in Madison County. However, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office shares that they were unable to make contact with Gibbs.

Gibbs is wanted on charges including: Evading arrest, reckless driving, simple possession, simple possession meth, speeding and driving while his license is revoked.
