Bolivar welcomes Dream Builders Academy

BOLIVAR, Tenn. — Are you interested in becoming a licensed natural hair care professional in Tennessee? One local school sets out to make your cosmetic dreams come true.

Earlier Thursday, residents gathered to celebrate the grand opening of Dream Builders Academy.

They are a faith-driven natural hair school created to inspire, educate and empower the next generation of beauty professionals.

Students will learn the art of natural hair care, build their own business and grow their confidence.

“It’s something about standing behind the chair. You get a chance to, not just treat someone’s hair, but you’re also ministering to their soul. And as you’re massaging their scalp, it relaxes everything that they came in with, so that when they leave, their life has been transformed — they’ll never be the same,” said Bernice Hardaway Lofties, founder and instructor at Dream Builders Academy.

Classes are enrolling now. The school is located on 390 Railroad Street ‘Suite D’ in Bolivar.
