Grand opening held in Jackson for B3 Creative Agency
JACKSON, Tenn. — A local creative agency opens their doors in downtown Jackson while also showcasing a newly added mural.
B3 Creative Agency has been in the Hub City for five years now. Thursday marked a huge celebration as they opened their doors in downtown Jackson while unveiling a 100-foot long mural to the public.
“It’s more space, we have a huge studio in the back, we’ve got Jackson’s first public podcast studio called ‘Baltimore Studio.’ We know that it’s a lot of people that want to produce more content, but maybe need a space. It’s great; it’s going to allow us to be here for a very long time and grow more,” said B3 Creative Agency founder Stephanie Riley.
Originally, B3 Creative Agency began with one employee and was located on Carriage House Drive. Since then, they have grown into a larger team specializing in tourism, agriculture and industrial work.
“We built an incredible team and we’ve been able to grow from just a couple of us to 14 of us. It’s just been awesome to see how this community has embraced us and allowed us to be here and do what we do,” said Riley.
As a creative agency, it was important to Riley to highlight their brand colors and to make the space fun while working there. B3 Creative Agency has served not only local clients, but international clients as well.
“It’s been really awesome we decided to just do whatever we wanted to put our brand colors everywhere. We are a creative agency we have pink and we have yellow doors and things like that,” said Riley.
Originally, the open wall space outside of the building was blank. Artist, Samantha Wood, who is also a Jackson native sat down with the team at B3 to highlight the company and its work along with Jackson’s music history.
“Carl Perkins’ glasses ties those two things together and then they work with agriculture clients, and that’s part of our surroundings here in West Tennessee, and so I was able to include that in the mural,” said Wood.
Riley shares says it’s important to invest private dollars into public art. Which is why she saw fit to change the once blank space into a mural.
“Without investment you don’t have art and without art it’s not a good thing. Art inspires us, it heals us, it creates conversation and connection and, in this case, makes our city more vibrant,” said Riley.
B3 Creative Agency is now located at 203 West Baltimore street in downtown Jackson.
