Madison County man arrested for aggravated sexual exploitation of minor

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE MADISON COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE:

ARREST MADE IN CHILD EXPLOITATION INVESTIGATION

Madison County, TN – On July 24, 2025, Investigators with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and the Jackson Police Department, working as part of Tennessee’s Internet Crimes Against  Children (ICAC) Task Force, executed a search warrant at the Madison County residence of Kenneth Barnett. 

The investigation was initiated following a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited  Children (NCMEC) regarding the online distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). 

As a result of the search, Kenneth Barnett was arrested and charged with Aggravated Sexual  Exploitation of a Minor. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Madison County General Sessions  Court.
