We now preview the Milan Bulldogs football team.
Last season they started off hot with a four game winning
streak scoring 34 points or more in all of those games. They saw their first loss
come in week five and afterwards hauled off a nine game winning streak until the state championship game. In that game they lost to Marion county with a final of 17 to 7.

The bulldogs ended their year 6 and 1 in the district and 13-2 overall. They lost 10
seniors but still have Mr football winner, UT Martin commit
and 2,000 yard rusher Jaydon Peete. So after last year’s performance
from this team and how far they got expectations are just as high
this time around. However, they have some other things to lock in before
looking that far ahead. We caught up with head coach Wade Comer and he talked
what his team needs to work on and some of the players that have to
carry the torch by leading this team through the season.
