UPDATE: Fire Dept. issues update on Gerdau Steel Mill fire

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — We received several reports of a massive fire at the Gerdau Steel Mill in North Madison County. Details are limited at this time.

When our crew arrived on scene we saw multiple first responders. The Madison County EMS and Madison County Fire Department were already on scene. At this time we are unsure of the severity of the fire.

Nearby neighbors stood by watching as smoke engulfed the facility.

We reached out to the Madison County Fire Department and Madison County Sheriff’s Office that could not provide any information at this time.
