We want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to the following agencies for their invaluable assistance with tankers and manpower:

Medina, TN Fire Department, City of Jackson, TN – Fire Department, Gibson County Fire Department, Medical Center EMS. Thank you to Medical Center EMS for staying on scene to support our firefighters with rehab services — your team always takes excellent care of us.  Jackson Madison County Emergency Management Agency for bringing drinks and snacks to keep everyone going throughout the night.

One of our own volunteer’s mother even made and delivered food to ensure firefighters had something to eat — an act of kindness that meant so much as many had not yet eaten supper.

We did have one firefighter transported due to injury and several others received IVs for dehydration. We are extremely grateful that no further injuries occurred and that everyone made it home safely.

To every responder, supporter, and volunteer — thank you for giving your time, energy, and heart. Your dedication is what keeps our community safe.”

We also spoke to Madison County Fire Chief Eric Turner who says the cause of the fire is still unknown at this time.
