We spoke with the winner, 2026 Miss Tennessee Volunteer, Meghan Poore, to find out a little bit more about her time competing.

Poore, who is a 24-year-old Medina native, has competed in the Miss Volunteer Pageant for the past four years and says competing has helped her overcome shyness.

She also tells us how exciting the experience at Miss Volunteer has been and how winning is a dream come true.

“It really was such a dream come true. This was my four years competing for Miss Tennessee Volunteer and the past four year I have poured everything into preparing for this competition and I’m just so glad that the judges were able to see my hard work and dedication, and all of it pay off,” Poore said.

Poore tells us she plans to use the scholarship money to help offset the cost of tuition at Arnold’s Beauty School.

She also says once finished, she is considering using her education to help others do their hair and makeup in the pageant world.
