Groundbreaking held for new Samburg City Hall

SAMBURG, Tenn. — One town begins construction on a new city hall.

The re-construction of Samburg City Hall comes after the previous building was destroyed in a tornado back in 2021.

The new facility will include a police department, a storm shelter, a maintenance shop, and 900 square feet of rentable space.

The new building will be located on 246 South Reelfoot Avenue, in Hornbeak.

The new and improved city hall is slated for completion by January 2026.
