Stone sculpture to be built in Shirlene Mercer Park

JACKSON, Tenn. — Aaron Lee Benson is constructing a stone sculpture at Shirlene Mercer Park.

This new sculpture is called “Come, let us reason together.”

It will incorporate a boulder with a greek cross in the center, along with two chairs across on separate sides. It symbolisms community and togetherness.

“That’s what Benson Sculpture is all about–doing work that has longevity, and also fits into the landscape. You know, it’s not intrusive, but it just fits into the landscape,” said Aaron Lee Benson, sculptor of “Come, let us reason together.”

This is the 3rd sculpture from Aaron Lee Benson following his work on “Living Stones” and “Seven Pillars.”
