This class is available for those 21-and-up and restricts anyone with active warrants, a felony conviction, drug conviction, and A or B misdemeanor. Classes will begin on August 19 and will last until October.
Students will learn about Jackson SWAT, community relations, traffic unit, patrol division, see demos from the forensic unit and much more.
“It actually gives the citizens an opportunity to see what our agency does see first hand; to communicate and to actually work alongside our officers,” said Stephanie Graham, public information officer for JPD.
The deadline for this application closes July 30, so make sure to sign up while you can!
