Retirement celebration held for JPD employee of more than 34 years

After 34 years, 7 months, and 21 days of distinguished service, Ms. Erica Murphy, Executive Secretary of PSIU, has officially retired.

Ms. Erica recognized it was time to retire upon realizing she was older than her current supervisor, and the Chief of Police.

Throughout her career, she worked under three City Mayors, four Chiefs of Police, and had nine supervisors, all of whom have since retired.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to Ms. Erica for her unwavering dedication and commitment to our officers and the entire City of Jackson, TN – Police Department.

Congratulation Ms. Erica may your next chapter be full of blessings.
