Man claiming to be Austin Drummond’s father releases statement to WBBJ

JACKSON, Tenn. — A person claiming to be the father of Austin Drummond contacted WBBJ Monday afternoon in hopes to share a letter regarding the ongoing investigation.

Here’s what it says.

WBBJ was not able to explicitly verify the identity of the man. He did offer to meet in person, to which WBBJ declined at this time.

EDITOR’S NOTE: The man only offered to meet for verification purposes and declined an interview when asked.

It is worth noting that the caller ID for the person who contacted WBBJ shared the same last name as Austin Drummond.
