Partly Cloudy With PM Isolated Storms

Weather Update August 4 —

Good Morning West Tennessee. The break from the extreme heat and humidity has certainly been nice. Remember its just that, a break. This week we will see a gradual return to normal temperatures, of course that means highs back around 90 and lows in the low 70s. As for today, We start the morning off fair with temps for some in the upper 60s. There’s also a good deal of clouds this morning that will gradually  break up as the atmosphere becomes mixed by Midday. The mix of sun and clouds will help push temps into the mid 80s through 2:00 PM or so. Aloft something slightly different will be creeping west from Middle Tennessee. An inverted trough will be sliding westward, the weak convergence will be enough to spark a few showers and storms today, particularly east of US 45E and the Tennessee River.
