City of Jackson, TN to participate in City Hall Selfie Day
JACKSON, Tenn. – The City of Jackson, TN is excited to announce our participation in “City Hall Selfie Day” on August 12, 2025, and invites the public to be a part of the celebration.
“City Hall Selfie Day is a fun way to connect with the community and show pride in the place where local government happens,” said Mayor Scott Conger. “We hope residents and visitors will stop by, snap a photo, and celebrate the people and history that shape our city every day.”
This year we’re happy to announce that we will have special guest appearances from Miss Tennessee Volunteer 2026 Meghan Poore (12:00 PM); and recording artist Lolo (1:00 PM) for citizens to meet and take selfies with them.
Jackson, TN City Hall, located at 101 E. Main St. in downtown Jackson, TN, is the home of City Government operations. The building also houses two art exhibits including the Woolworth Sit-ins (1st floor) and “In This Moment: A Visualization of 200 Years of Jackson-Madison County History” by Lendon Noe (2nd Floor). For those who want to add an extra touch of creativity, they can also visit our old Jackson, TN City Hall located at 314 E. Main St., current home of The Ned Theatre.
