Judges orders $75K bond for Powell
LAKE COUNTY, Tenn. – A man connected with Austin Drummond was in Lake County Circuit Court on Thursday morning regarding an appearance on charges of conspiring with Drummond to deliver contraband into the Northwest Correctional Facility.

Branden Powell is alleged to have conspired with Drummond to smuggle tobacco, marijuana, and an ear piercing kit into the penal facility.
He was given a $75,000 bond. Judge Drew Cook said if the bond is not met prior to Monday, there will be another hearing on Monday to consider reducing the bond.
Powell has a hold out of Crockett County. He will need to go to Crockett County on those charges if he is able to make bond in Lake County.
