TradeMentor Academy graduates first HVAC class, new session starting soon

JACKSON, Tenn. — TradeMentor Academy represents something that is put in place for the benefit of others.

It allows the opportunity for those who see a need to impact the future by investing in strangers.

TradeMentor Academy is a tuition-free training course for entry level positions in the HVACR industry. This brief, thorough training provides students with classroom, lab and real-world experience.

Thursday, TradeMentor Academy graduated its first class and announced the beginning of the next 15-week course on August 27.

“I definitely recommend going into a trade more than anything because working for yourself is the greatest opportunity in your life that you can do. Because you’re building a generational wealth for your kids, and it’s not just about you at that point — it’s about generations to come, and people around you, and building opportunities. You are able to give people jobs now, and not just for your kids, but for other people as well,” said Jacob Richmond Jr, recent graduate.

The goal and mission of TradeMentor Academy is to extend opportunity from generation to generation and community to community.
