Deadline to register for Lexington election approaching
LEXINGTON, Tenn. — One local election deadline is quickly approaching.
Residents in Lexington have until next Tuesday, August 12 to register to vote in the City of Lexington Municipal Election and that are not registered to vote.
The election will be for Lexington Mayor, several alderman positions and school board.
To register to vote, you can go to the Henderson County Election Office at 435 West Church Street. Early voting begins August 22 and goes through Sept 6.
