Locals honored at 5th annual Giraffe Awards
JACKSON, Tenn.—The Giraffe Awards return to the Carl Perkins Civic Center to honor and support local heroes.
Heroes don’t always wear a uniform, and the Positive Living Group’s Giraffe Awards are meant to bring light to those who tirelessly lift up others.
The annual Giraffe Awards Gala took place from 4 until 10 in the Hub City Saturday evening.
The event kicked off with guests walking the red carpet and enjoying a cocktail hour.
There was also a delicious dinner served as well as music, dancing and an awards presentation.
This year’s event also featured specially selected music tracks to welcome guests to the stage.
This is the 5th year for the Giraffe Awards to take place in Jackson.
