Sinners Hope Church celebrates Homecoming

SARDIS, Tenn.—One local church in Henderson County is celebrating more than 50 years of services.

Sinners Hope Church located at 60 Gospel Lane in Sardis hosted its Homecoming celebration Sunday beginning at 10am.

The service featured a special guest speaker, a performance from musical guests Living Truth quartet, followed by a BBQ and fellowship time.

Food included pulled pork, chicken, and several delicious desserts including fried pies and banana pudding.

The church has welcomed several new members over the past 50 years and is always happy to welcome more.

“We’ve had lots of good food today. Occasionally we’ll do a meal after a group comes in to sing or just a random Sunday. It’s a really good community here. We just want to bring everyone together and come back home,” said Madelyn Hefner, church member.

Sinners Hope Church hosts its Homecoming services annually with this year’s event kicking off their revival week.

Revival will be held Monday, August 11 through Wednesday, August 13 at 7pm nightly.
