UPDATE: Hardin County Sheriff Dept. announces death of missing man

UPDATE (08/12/25 — 4:40pm): The Hardin County Sheriff Department has confirmed to WBBJ that Stricklin has been found deceased. His vehicle was also located. Police say they are not able to share any more details at this time. Stay with us on air and online for possible updates.


HARDIN COUNTY, Tenn. — The Hardin County Sheriff’s Department is seeking a missing man.

The Sheriff’s Department confirms a missing person report has been filed for Kevin Stricklin.

A social media post circulating online reads: “If anyone sees Kevin Stricklin. Please let us know. His phone was last pinned in the river bottoms in Savannah, TN. He will be in a 2017 Black Ford F-150 4 door. ”

According to the report, Stricklin was last seen around noon on August 10, and was heard from later via phone around 2:20 p.m.

Stricklin is 43-years-old, 5’9″ and weighs around 180 lbs. He has light brown hair and a goatee, and a small scar under his nose on the left side. The report says he drives a black Ford F-150 crew cab with a dent on the passenger side back door bed area.
