District Attorney releases statement on Austin Drummond case
FROM THE OFFICE OF DISTRICT ATTORNEY GENERAL DANNY GOODMAN, 29TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT:
My office will seek justice with the death penalty in the case against Austin Drummond for the murders of James Wilson (21), Adrianna Williams (20), Braydon Williams (15), and Cortney Rose (38).
This heinous crime in Tiptonville has also left a 7-month-old infant girl without her parents, her uncle and grandmother.
Drummond had already served prison time for robbery, and had been charged with attempted murder while behind bars, but was out on bond at the time of the killings.
He is now charged with:
- Four counts of first-degree murder
- One count of aggravated kidnapping
- Four counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm
- One Count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony
