Residents learn more about City of Jackson’s Neighborhood Improvement Project Grants

JACKSON, Tenn. — Earlier Tuesday, the City of Jackson hosted two information sessions for their 2025 Neighborhood Improvement Project Grant opportunity.

The grant is offered through Neighborhood Services’ Love Your Block program.

The sessions provided details about the application process, grant requirements and budgeting considerations.

“I would just love to invite anybody within city limits, and especially outside of downtown because a lot of our past grants have been through the downtown area. We’re really hoping to get more up north and then south jackson to apply for these grants that I think will beautify all of Jackson,” said Elvia Trejo, neighborhood specialist for the City of Jackson.

Applications are still open through September 12. The City of Jackson encourages interested parties to visit loveyourblock.jacksontn.gov for more information and to access the application.
