Jackson’s Parks and Recreation presents Movies in the Park
JACKSON, Tenn.—The City of Jackson’s Parks and Recreation Department is set to host its Movies in the Park series.
If you are always looking for family friendly events to attend in the Jackson area, you may want to add the Movies in the Park to the list.
The event offers a free hit movie displayed on a screen outdoors.

Guests are welcomed to bring chairs, blankets, and food to enjoy along with the movie.
The film “Luca” will be shown Saturday, August 16 at Shirlene Mercer Park located at 814 1/2 East Chester Street.
Movies begin at dusk, roughly around 8pm.
“Luca” will also be shown at Malesus Park located at 412 Bolivar Highway in Jackson on September 27 at the same time.
The movies are free and open to the public.
The rain date for the August showing is August 23 at the same place and time and for the September movie, it will be on October 4th.
