Tennessee Firemen’s Association to host annual conference in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — One conference is coming to West Tennessee and local firefighters are getting the word out.

The Tennessee Firemen’s Association will be hosting their annual first responders conference here in Jackson from September 25-28.

The statewide conference will be held at the Doubletree in Jackson. They urge all local first responders to attend the event.

“I just like to say that we need bodies. We are here in west Tennessee and I just want this to be one of the biggest conferences TFA has ever been put on because it’s in west Tennessee . And not just west Tennessee we have people coming from east Tennessee and middle Tennessee because they are also a part of the TFA but we want a good showing in west Tennessee,” said Chief Lynn Price, Bolivar Fire Department.

They are now accepting registrations and nominations for firefighter of the year.
