VSS DANCE celebrates 40 years with open enrollment for new & seasoned dancers

VSS DANCE CELEBRATES 40 YEARS WITH OPEN ENROLLMENT FOR NEW & SEASONED DANCERS

Jackson, TN – August 19th, 2025 – VSS DANCE is thrilled to announce open enrollment for the 2025–2026 season, welcoming dancers of all ages and experience levels to join our vibrant and award-winning community. This year is especially momentous as VSS DANCE proudly celebrates 40 years of inspiring movement, artistry, and excellence in dance education.

From toddlers taking their first steps in dance at age 2, to high school students refining advanced techniques, VSS DANCE offers classes for every stage of a dancer’s journey. Our diverse curriculum includes Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Modern, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Pointe, and more. Classes run August through May, concluding with our beloved annual recital—a showcase of everything our dancers have learned and achieved throughout the year. 

In addition to our traditional class offerings, VSS DANCE is proud to be the oldest and most established competitive dance program in Jackson. For the past 20 years, our competitive team has set the standard—earning numerous regional awards and receiving exclusive invitations such as training with the world-renowned Rockettes in New York City. 

Adding to its long list of achievements, VSS DANCE is the only studio in Jackson ever awarded the “Studio of Excellence Award” by the American Dance Connection and Competition. This prestigious recognition is reserved for programs that demonstrate the highest level of artistry, integrity, and dedication to dance education—cementing VSS DANCE as a true pillar in the region.

This 40th anniversary season is a celebration of our dancers, our families, and the incredible community that has supported us for four decades.”
