Fall Like Weather And Near Record Lows Ahead!
Saturday Morning Update
WBBJ 7 Forecast Update:
A cold front will move our weather for the second half of our weekend bringing a cooler shot of Fall like air for much of next week! The front will NOT be bringing showers and storms with it. Rain chances are low in the forecast and we will have the full forecast, including the latest on possible low temperature records in jeopardy next week coming up here.

THIS WEEKEND:
The weekend weather looks like it is going to be really nice across West Tennessee. Rain chances are currently below 10% both days. The winds will be light and come out of the north. It may be a bit breezy for a few hours when the next cold front will move through. The front will approach early in the day on Sunday and cooler weather will be sliding in as the day goes on. Highs will reach the low 90s on Saturday and probably be a little cooler on Sunday depending on the timing of the front.

The further south you are, the better chance you have at hitting 90° before the front moves through. The humidity looks low for West Tennessee standards which will feel nice. Saturday night we will drop to the mid 60s but Sunday night lows could fall all the way down into the low 60s. Expect a mostly sunny and very nice weekend, you should make some outdoor plans!

NEXT WEEK:
The coolest weather since late May or early June is on the way for next week. A cold front will pass by early on Monday or late Sunday that will usher in cooler and drier weather with it. We should still see mostly sunny skies on Monday but more clouds and even a shower or two could show up on Tuesday. Tuesday is the best shot for rain in the forecast early in the week, but it is only 10% at most. Highs will stay in the 80-85° range into next week with morning lows between 55-60°. The winds will stay out of the north all week long making for some really nice weather. If you have been waiting for cooler weather and a taste of fall, this is going to be your week! The record low Wednesday morning is 54° and we are going to be very close to that number.
