MVP of The Week Jaydon Peete

Let’s start things off in Milan as it is time for our MVP of the week and it will go to Jaydon Peete. Running
back and linebacker for the Milan bulldogs. The reigning class 2A Mr football winner kicked
off the season with an electric performance. He
had 15 carries for 172 yards, 3 touchdowns, one reception
65 yards, another touchdown and nine tackles. That lead them to
a win over South Side with a final of 35 to 28. You saw it all last season
and you’re seeing it one more time in his senior season. He still has the ability
to read the gap and explode into the second level and I gotta be honest he looks
faster than ever before. We caught up with Mr Peete himself and he talked about
his performance and that he has plans to go back to back winning Mr football.

“I think it will always be intentional to just come out and play ball it wouldn’t been possible without my teammates going in and slowing down the defense and helping me move through the gaps and stuff like that. Take being hard at practice getting better by my teammates and being surrounded by good people.”
