Students enjoy ‘Pathways2Possibilities’ College & Career Expo

JACKSON, Tenn. — One opportunity for students returns to the Hub City bringing even more ideas.

The United Way of West Tennessee, the Greater Jackson Chamber, and Jackson-Madison County School System teamed up to host “Pathways2Possibilities” College & Career Expo.

The Expo is held every year to prepare middle school students for high school and help them choose their career paths.

“We have 40 or 50 different vendors here of all different types. So there’s a bunch of different career pathways that they can choose from. And what’s really unique about the career expo is that all the vendors show up to put on their best game. So there’s all types of creative ways that their engaging with the students and really inspiring them and helping them see those career in a different light that maybe they haven’t thought about before,” said Matt Marshall, the President and CEO of the United Way of West Tennessee.

The Expo will continue Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Carl Perkins Civic Center.
