It is time for your team of the week and it will be the Dyer county Choctaws.
Last Friday they went head to head in the golden orange bowl with Dyersburg and this game was
everything we expected. Dyer county started off with a double pass that lead to a touchdown that ended up setting the tone for the game. As far as defense they
took advantage of momentum by capitalizing on fumbles going into overtime and then blocking an extra point. That sealed the week one victory with
a final of 35 to 34 and the best part for them is that early in the season they have shown they can win in a hostile environment. We caught up with first year head coach
Justin Dubruiel and he spoke about the double pass to open up the game,what they need to work on and what you can expect from the Choctaws going forward.

we want to be able to run the ball a whole lot better that’s where we want to get better were gone challenge our offensive line this week to be able to challenge them and get them going where we need to go. Hopefully more wins but were going to take one game at a time one day at a time
