Gamma Alpha Omega Chapter Donates Black Hair Care Products to the Dream Center of Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn.—President Mechelle Moragne and members of the Gamma Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated recently donated more than 100 Black hair care products to the Dream Center of Jackson.

The center’s director, Gail Gustafson, along with staff members, were present to receive the generous contribution. These products will provide residents with culturally responsive resources that affirm dignity, self-care, and identity.

Such donations play an important role in fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for residents of color, ensuring their unique needs are recognized and met. This initiative reflects the sorority’s mission of service and commitment to uplifting communities.
